Brindley Meredith

Senior Associate Solicitor

I work within the Private Client department in our Harrow office, assisting clients with the preparation of their Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, dealing with the administration of estates where there is a Will or where there is no Will, and Court of Protection and attorneyship matters.

I take a great deal of pride in providing clients with assistance in matters that can often be difficult, emotional, or stressful. I aim to take a caring and reassuring approach to my clients, in addition to providing them with quality legal support.

Experience

After finishing my law degree in 2013 I accepted a paralegal role at Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors in York, a high street general practice firm, within their Private Client Department. Here I laid the foundations for my Private Client experience dealing with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate matters. During this time I also completed the Legal Practice Course part-time at weekends. On completion of the Legal Practice Course I started my training contract with Crombie Wilkinson where I completed seats in Private Client, Dispute Resolution, and Residential Property. This helped me develop a sound understanding of how difference areas of practice interact with each other. In November 2016 I qualified into Crombie’s Private Client Department. During this time I also gained experience in aspects of Charity Law and administration for small local charities.

I joined Harold Benjamin in April 2018 to further develop my knowledge and experience.
